NOTE: this installation packages assumes that the Apple Developer's CD has been installed on your machine. Specifically, HTDB will not run unless the following software is also installed on your machine: libmysql, libcurl, libxml.

The code is currently in private CVS, with the intent of releasing it under one of the Open Source licenses.

DISCLAIMER

Although HTDB has been under development and in use in professional and hobbist installations since 1994, it has been used only by a small, smart and enthusiastic group of individuals who are familiar enough with it that they haven't needed hand-holding. Casual programmers may find an HTDB installation overwhelming due to the rough-and-tumble make and installation process.
